Wow! Momo Celebrates Their Century
Two young friends came up with an idea for a start up business and who knew that the results would have been so ‘Wow’. The momos that began their journey in Kolkata in a small kiosk eventually conquered 8 cities across the country and in December 2016, Wow! Momo opened their 100th store at Koramangala in Bangalore.
A grand celebration was organized in Kolkata, at their AJC Bose Road outlet in the presence of their CEO Sagar Daryani, and friends such as Sanjeev Bhikchandani of InfoEdge Saurabh Srivastava of IAN and Ashvin Chadha, a serial entrepreneur, as well as several delegates from the media. RJ Jimmy went live from the venue as the entire team celebrated and rejoiced the eventful journey of their favorite momo brand in cities like Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Pune, Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida. While many said it was a great landmark for their journey, the team believes their journey has just begun and they want to spread their wings globally offering every a ‘Wow! Momo’ experience. Soon after this event, Wow! Momo launched its 101st store in Kolkata, which is housed in a former city icon, the double-decker bus, at Nicco Park.
