AM Medical Centre, Kolkata, in collaboration with YFLO, and with financial support of the Emami Foundation, was pleased to announce a collaborative initiative to provide free cataract surgeries for indigent patients on the occasion of World Health Day.

The surgeries will be performed by a team of experienced ophthalmologists at AM Medical Centre, a renowned medical facility known for its expertise in eye care, dentistry, and cosmetic gynecology. This initiative will ensure that patients receive top-quality medical care with the latest technology and techniques.

Apurup Kumar Singh, Head of the CSR activities, Emami Foundation noted: “It’s a great initiative from YFLO & AM Medical Centre, we’re happy to collaborate with them in terms of providing them with a platform to serve the needy. The Emami Foundation is doing a lot of cataract surgeries but our reach has been limited and through such collaborative initiatives we will e able to increase our reach to a greater number of patients and will be able to reach out to more number of patients, so that we can get a chance through our CSR to be able to make a more impactful difference to a larger number of people”,

Priyanka Agarwal, Chairperson of YFLO Kolkata, said, I’m extremely happy to be a part of this “collaboration with the AM Medical Centre for ‘Elevate your Vision’; which undertakes cataract eye operations for the underprivileged, and to bring a change in our society, to restore the vision of these most needy patients and provide them with a better future.”

Along with the cataract surgeries, we are also planning to do a dental check-up for school children.”
