Women Economic Forum
Kolkata witnessed the First Women Economic Forum (WEF) in the city which was hosted by the JW Marriott and its GM Ms. Ranju Alek from 2nd - 3rd January, 2017, on the theme "Shakti Unleashed- Awakening the Power Within." The WEF is a global conference of the All Ladies League (ALL) to foster empowering conversations and connections among women of extraordinary commitment for constructive change in all walks of life. Kolkata’s finest were invited to share their knowledge and experience in a number of different fields including: the power of social media, sustainable and inclusive growth, social and business development, conflict resolution and peace building, the power of education and partnership building. Kudos to Ms. Ranju Alek and her team for the brilliant organization of the 2 day program!
