Inter-Club Debate at Saturday Club
At the Inter Club Debate “In the Opinion of the House, the Indian Dream is turning into an Indian nightmare”, a keenly contested meeting of minds and war of words between five teams saw a positive outcome. No nightmarish scenario for the country. Battling it out at the Saturday Club were five teams—the host club itself, Calcutta Club, Lake Club, Dalhousie Institute and Tollygunge Club. Calcutta Club were the winners and the from the runners-up team—the Lake Club, came the best speaker. Chairing the debate was the ever sparkling Dr Kunal Sarkar with his delightful interjections. The speakers were solid in their research, humorous in their presentation and quick in their riposte.
