The Royal Calcutta Turf Club was the venue for the release and discussion on a book titled “Horse Racing In India : A Royal Legacy” by Lynn Deas, horse-owner and publisher of Racing World, India’s only equestrian racing magazine, who has been associated with some of the finest thoroughbred horses over a quarter of a century. She was in conversation with Kishore Bhimani, well-known writer, journalist and broadcaster who has been involved with the racing world as commentator, steward of the RCTC and owner for over four decades. Also in conversation was Robin Corner, Vice President and Racing Manager of RCTC and former jockey and trainer. Naresh Kumar, iconic sports personality was the chief guest and released the massive coffee table tome published by Niyogi Books, whose owner, Bikash Niyogi was present at the release.
The event was peppered with personal anecdotes from the panelists.
