The Installation & Oath ceremony of Jain International Trade Organisation was held at Ganpati Banquets on 6th November. Mr. Bhaven Kamdar has taken Oath as chairman of JITO & Mr. Rohit Surana as chief secretary of JITO.

Speaking on this occasion Mr. Bhaven Kamdar, Chairman of JITO said ‘Jito Kolkata aims to conduct series of business and charitable activities in the next 2 years that is going to benefit the public at large’

Mr. Rohit Surana, Chief Secretary of JITO said “The versatility of team composition, able leadership along with the noble cause of sharing, caring and upliftment will result in palpable benefits being delivered last mile.”

Dr. Shashi Panja (Cabinet Minister for Industries, Commerce & Enterprises and Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare of the Government of West Bengal) was the Guest of Honour. Dr. Panja urged the entrepreneurs of the Jain Community to set up business in Bengal and also to further their existing businesses.

JITO is a worldwide organisation of businessmen, industrialists, knowledge workers and professionals reflecting the glory of ethical business practices. They have over 37,000 members nationally.

Every two years they elect a new President and core working team for implementing new projects. They also undertake large Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and help to prepare students for the IPS/IAS exams.
