The lounge sits on a sprawling area of approximately 1500 sq. ft. plus and channels a mellow vibe. Walking up to the lounge, one first comes to the foyer which is designed as the welcome area, with a vibrant look. The use of red is the prominent theme of the space, which brings in a sense of Chinese regality to the ambience. A red chandelier, a dense wood hostess desk and a larger-than-life graphical artwork with a predominantly red palette contributes to the overall visual appearance of the space.
Lounge and Bar by Royal China, Kolkata boasts of an in-house DJ station on a raised level from where the DJ can connect with the guests. The overall finish of the lounge area is plush and informal, emanating a sense of warmth. The understated aura of the lounge is enhanced by the addition of rafters on the wall with cove lighting and some eye-catching wall art. The lounge has been designed keeping in mind the auditory requirements of the space with state-of-the-art music and sound systems along with acoustic paneling on the walls and ceilings.

The bar menu at the Lounge and Bar by Royal China, Kolkata is home to some timeless favorites that have been enticing the palates of all since years. These all-time classics include, ‘Margarita’, ‘Long Island Iced Tea’, ‘Espresso Martini’, ‘Tom Collins’, ‘Mojito’ and ‘Jager bombs’ to name a few.
Executed by Head Chef, Pushpak, the food menu is an ode to the majestic world of Cantonese cuisine. The wondrous and innovative Dim sums are a must-try – think skinned, translucent and plated in exquisite presentation. The ‘Pan Fried Whole Fish Pomfret in Szechuan Sauce’, the ‘Fried Prawn Chueng Fun’, ‘Roast Duck Cantonese Style’, ‘Fukien Rice’ and the ‘Chicken in Black Bean Sauce’, are a few of the other unmissable signature dishes on the menu. Seafood lovers are spoilt for choice and can choose from a delectable range of marine delicacies, including squids and abalone. The brand has an extensive range of vegetarian dishes too, featuring Dim sums and mains such as ‘Vegetable Cheun Fun Dumpling’, ‘Silken Tofu with Asparagus & Soya Chili’, ‘Royal China Exotic Vegetables’, and ‘Fried Soya Noodles Hong Kong Style Mixed Vegetables’, to name a few. Being thoughtful about vegetarian guests’ preferences, the outlet has a separate vegetarian menu to ensure that they do not have to search for the vegetarian options from the vast menu spread.
As no meal is complete without desserts, the menu has an array of drool-worthy delights for patrons, like, ‘The Melting Chocolate Dome’, ‘The Chocolate Mud Cake’, ‘Apple or Banana Toffee Fritters’, ‘Honey Noodles’ and the likes, for a sinful ending.
