The Park, Kolkata and Roli Books presented an evening that was highly interactive when the well-known commentator Alan Wilkins who is equally at home with cricket, tennis and golf and other sport, had the launch of his book Easier Said Than Done. In conversation with him was international sports presenter Gautam Bhimani and Saurav Ganguly.
There were many cricketing personalities in the audience and some of them came up on stage to continue the friendly banter and pull out lesser know facts about on and off-field happenings. They included Tom Moody, V.V. S. Lakshman and current commentators like Michael Slater.
The British Deputy High Commissioner Bruce Bucknell was present throughout and interacting actively.
