Austin Plywood Supports Children’s Education & Well-Being
Austin Plywood has always been at the forefront of assisting the less fortunate in the cities where it is operational, and in 2021 it decided to hold an event of fun, music, dance, food and gifts for the less fortunate and orphaned children from Angel Home Dum Dum Unit.
In March 2021, Austin Plywood as part of their commitment towards disadvantaged children organized a fun-filled afternoon for kids from different socio-economic backgrounds to interact with each other and share in the festivities and merriment with party games, delicious food, and lively dance music amidst the cheerful ambience.
In honour of supporting children’s education and well-being, each child was provided with a specially curated age-appropriate educational hamper as well as toys and games and enjoyed an afternoon of interacting with some of society’s concerned citizens who revelled spending time with these children. Some of those that were part of the festivities included Pradeep Khemka (Consul General Brazil), Nayantara Pal Chaudhuri (Consul General Norway), EshaDutt, Pinky Kenworthy, Antasheela Ghosh and Mimi Das of Angel Home Dum Dum Unit.
