The Artemist is celebrating 5 years of creativity and artfulness in West Bengal with an exhibition for over 100 artists and over 250 art pieces on display for you to appreciate.

Mrs. AradhanaDalmia came back to India after graduating from Manchester School of Art to start her company, The Artemist. She had a passion to give back to her roots and that is what inspired the inception of The Artemist.

The start-up by Mrs. Dalmia employs graduates from various institutions in the state like the prestigious Government College of Art, BiswaBharati in Shantiniken and so on. The Artemist comprises of over 15 such artists.

The aim of Mrs. Dalmia’s company is to deal in Art which is non-mainstream but is solely dependent on the kind of creative skills found in abundance in the state of West Bengal but that unfortunately remains unrecognized.

In a short time here since 2016, she has successfully installed various art pieces in residencies, offices, for hospitalities and events across India and has achieved her goal of rendering a soulful meaning to Art as she perceives it. Through this consultative process and understanding the needs of her clients, Mrs. Dalmia has built a close relationship with them thus transforming their spaces with art. Each experience is a bespoke one where the client is the focal point and the commissioned art work is based on their individual preferences. The Artemist collaborates with art galleries globally and those wishing to widen their artist databases.

A wide range of artworks have been curated such as paintings, wall murals, sculptures etc. done in watercolors, oils on canvas, mixed media, acrylics, pastels, gouache and so on; the subject matters include among others landscape, seascape, figurative and abstract art.

You will have the opportunity to see the artists at work at the studio along with great conversation, music and workshops throughout the day.

The Artemist is celebrating its ventures in Artful avenues and invites you to take join them and experience her exhibits to encourage the artists in The Artemist team. The exhibition starts 1pm onwards on Sunday 23rd October 2021.
